We've done well in the end to limit the lead now we need to bat well. Another shocking decision by umpire initially.
I reckon DRS needs to be taken away from the players. Keep the technology and let the umpires use it, either the on-field umpires can ask for it if they aren't sure or the 3rd umpire can send a signal to the on-field umpires if they have mad a howler of a decision.

The appeal has always been a part of the game, the current system is an extension for that with the fielding team having to ask for a review. Technology has a place but over reliance on it would, in my view, be to the detriment of the drama of the game.
In fairness that was an absolute jaffer. The problem is that Root at the moment is just allowing the bowler to get into a rhythm. He's putting zero pressure back on to the opposition, before the trench he digs becomes inevitably too deep to get out of. He's seemed strangely low on confidence ever since his 180 at Lords
