Nadal was full of praise for the victor - sign of a good sportsman that , could've make excuses about his knee etc, but fair play too him - classy !

Heavily implicated in the Fuentes case so I'm not sure I could call him classy or indeed a good sportsman. The way the French media report the case suggest that there's a good chance that it is true.

I do find that interesting because, in my admittedly small amount of tennis knowledge, I remember thinking when Nadal went from great clay court player to all round exceptional player it was largely tied to a big improvement in his fitness.
