I agree with you totaly, my original post was more the flat back four with four midfielders in front when we are defending as opposed to a back three with AWOL wingbacks

Very true, we just got ripped apart and out of position by teams with players 'between the lines' - the centre-backs would be three-on-one against a centre forward, then the lack of midfield numbers meant attacking midfielders would have a free run at the centre-backs, causing all kinds of havoc. It's not perfect - the four at the back was the system which conceded four in one half - but I think it's better.

I've always thought as West Brom as a friendly rival its never seemed particularly heated compared to Blues, they don't seem that bad even though some of their fans have an irrational dislike towards Villa like every other west midlands team, however there fans are quite level headed and can laugh at themselves not getting so venomous and violent like a certain club from Small Heath... however this season those little fuckers have started to become more than.just annoying. After one season of finishing above us they now they think they're something special and are starting to believe in their own self inflated hype. They need to stfu and remember that they're West Brom and we're Aston Villa.

The banning the old boy above is on about happened after he wrote saying that relegation wouldn't be so bad because we could at least win games and compete, I told him the idea was 'daft' and got told to 'fuck off.'

On reflection I realise I was wrong and should have rabidly agreed on the benefits of relegation.

if thats the way you remember it,
 i dont think i said it exactly like that, probably more to do with taking relegation without Mcliesh would be better than keeping him and staying in the prem with his version of football

all i remember is you pushing my buttons then as soon as i stepped out of line you were of to the mods like the big tell tale tit you are.
