Every player out there looks like well, they don't want to be out there...every impression I get from their body language is I don't really care

I don't think they don't care, they just know they aren't good enough, they have lost all self-belief.

I doubt very much that they don't care. I suspect that they're not enjoying it at all and are hiding

When you see a paper-thin squad like ours being comprehensively outplayed by a side that had until very recently been out of the top flight for thirty years, it's absolutely mystifying that some people persist in thinking that our owner is doing a good job.
Totally agree, Lambert is getting plenty of stick today, but i think he couldnt pick a much better team with what hes got at his disposal...Lerner is slowly allowing this club to rot, if hes not intrested he should fuck off now!

Delph costs us again. Another let off. I'm really beginning to think we're going to nick something today.
Do you still think we're a midtable side PWS?

If we weren't riddled with injuries then yes.

They need someone to get a grip of them and the game. We just don't have anyone who can do that.

I don't want to make excuses for the bloke, but it would help if Vlaar, Gabby, Bent, Dunne to name four were playing. I know having those three, plus one or two of the older heads won't win us the league but we weren't getting battered either earlier in the season. The heads have gone, and as much as you can point at Lambert for a lot of things he's been unlucky with injuries. Again, not an excuse, but the truth.
I'll give you Vlaar but the others?  Gabby has done fuck all for us for several seasons and the only think you can count on him for is unreliability.  Bent wasn't being picked anyway and hasn't done anything to suggest he can play with Benteke, even assuming Lambert wants to do that.  Dunne is a feckless, overweight, unprofessional money-sink and yet he remains the closest thing we have to an experienced Premier League defender.

Very worrying times.

Our worst players are not the ones he has signed Risso, they are the ones that were here and he did not yet know were as shitty as they are unfortunately. Give the bloke more than 6 months and 1 window without compitive games to sort it out??

I think we need Holman on with his 3 lungs to close them down faster and provide an experienced head for the team to look to.

Lambert bought the kids like Bennett, Westwood and Lowton, plus shite like KEA.  This is his team.

A goal might lift us but looks impossible. Bring Bowery on second half and go for broke, nothing to lose, we've already conceded three points with this set up.

Bradford will tear us apart on this showing.

I know things are shit in the PL right now, but Bradford won't tear us apart at all. In fact, the League Cup will be a welcome distraction to the league in my opinion and we'll handle our business.

Sorry but there's no reason why they shouldn't  if we defend like this and they are up for it.   If they can score against Arsenal why wouldn;t they against this woeful excuse for a defence?  And even if we "handle our business"  we will need to improve drastically not to endure humiliation at Wembley.
