They are not excuses, they are putting it into a bit of perspective. I try and see reason, not just simply state my misery every 2 minutes. Until Baker went off as poor as we were with the ball, we had not conceded and had not looked like doing so, Spurs did not have a way through. Since he went off and had to go back to 4 at the back, we have been wide open.
