Privilaged by Blood & Birth Place (Lozells) to support "The Greatest Football Club in the World".
There is never a day when I am not proud to be a Villa Fan.

Hard to believe that only 4 years ago, Manchester City were trounced 8-1 by Middlesbrough, as fans protested over the sacking of Sven Goran Erikkson.

Indeed, I don't think there's ever been a time where I haven't been proud to be a villa fan.  Even last year watching the worst football I've ever seen from us I was proud to be a fan.

When I was young my father said
"Son, I have something to say"
And what he told me, I'll never forget
Until my dying day

He said, "Son, you are a Villa fan
And that's the way to stay
Happy be a Villa fan
Until your dying day?"
Until they lose 8 nil

Always proud but highly embarrassed at losing 8-0. I hope Lerner is also feeling the same, but I doubt it. He needs to state his intentions for our club - if he won't back PL then sell-up to someone with more drive and ambition to avoid more beatings like Sunday. I just don't see what Lerner gets out of owning Villa.

The thing with modern football is that there will be a lot more teams getting hammered 8,9 and 10-0 in the next coming seasons.

I am gutted and took a lot of shit over christmas about this , even non football girls coming up to me , what about Villa ? how humiliating !  what I replied , who for Liverpool last week after we beat them 3-1 or Norwich in the cup .  I will move on but I know even the likes of baggies , aresnal and Manure , can easily get hummilated in this league , which they have all done.   We  just have to learn from this experience quick and I am sure we will.

I am always proud , my 7 year old son who has not got the Villa bug yet or the football thing to be honest , probably my fault , as my Dad was a season ticket holder when I was 7 , so he took me down straight away and I never looked back and I dont go down as often as I used to.
But yesterday , he had opened a few presents and knew he had his favourite ones to open yet and then said to me , can I have some paper and some coloured crayons ?     what for I said ?    he said I want to design the new Aston Villa football kit for next season and I want you to send it off the the club .

That made me happy and damn proud.

I said it before somewhere but Chelsea could put ten past the Villa and still not have a tenth of our class.
