Harry and PL will want to keep it tight, and the first ninety minutes will be drab fare, only enlivened by touchline chats between Harry and Webb as they discuss the laws of the game and tactics.

Webb will turn down three stonewall penalties for Villa, and give one for handball against Guzan when he catches a cross in the six-yard box. Jamie Redknapp, drafted in at the last minute as an out-of-contract signing, scores.

In the ninety-third minute Bent will come on and dive outrageously with no QPR player anywhere near him. Webb is about to book him when he realises he's heard of him and awards the penalty.

Bent says he's 'mentally not right' to take it and gives Lambert a written transfer request before flicking the Vs at him and storming off down the tunnel.

Bannan steps up, and the 'keeper throws his hat on his Hollywood chip down the middle to save. 1-0 QPR.

The pitch at Loftus Road is small, playing with wide players is almost pointless as they have little room.

Perhaps you're on to something as to why PL doesnt play with wingers at home either, both pitches are the same width.

The pitch at Loftus Road is small, playing with wide players is almost pointless as they have little room. I would play 4-3-1-2

---------------------------------------Guzan----------------------------------------------------
----Lowton--------------Clark-----------------Baker-------------Lihaj/Stevens-----------
---------------Holman-----------Westwood------------Bannan-----------------------------
------------------------------------------Ireland------------------------------------------------
------------------------------Bent-----------------Benteke------------------------------------

Subs: Gabby, El Ahmedi, Delph, Given, Bowery, Albrighton, +Lihaj/Stevens

I'd like to see us utilise Benteke's ariel ability and play on Ferdinand with big long diagonal balls from the full backs, Bent feeds off his flicks and will hopefully play up close to Benteke. When we can - play through Ireland, his runs and ability to play between the lines of their midfield and defence and pick out Bent's runs.

I like the idea, but I fear that Redknapp's gonna have QPR going gung-ho at us, and that team might leave us overrun at the back and in midfield. I would love to see how Bent and Benteke would work together if given a lengthy amount of time to form a partnership though.

Stevens is out. Like this team. Would swap Holman for KEA. I hope Lambert does not let the pressure of playing Bent become a stubborn stance and he is professional enough to see common sense and play Bent .....

I don't think Bent's presence or otherwise will make much difference.

If QPR have a strength it is in midfield, where we are weakest. If we can get enough good possession in their half, we will score against their plodders at their back, regardless of whether Bent is there or not.

If we get dominated in the middle we may as well have Long John Silver up front.

I think we need three in the middle. Can't allow Granero and Taarabt space.

I'd go

Guzan
Lowton - Clark - Baker - Lichaj
Westwood - KAE - Ireland
Holman -------------------- Gabby
Benteke

I'd take a draw. This game has shades of the Southampton game a couple of months back though....
