QPR will be up for it, as people have said, Harry/Media wankfest etc.
Beat them and they will be well adrift but I don't think Vlaar will be fit and I have a feeling we will be inconsistent all season with these kids, so it all points to a home win for me, lambs to the slaughter I feel.
Hope I'm utterly wrong of course !

Vlaar tweeted that he hopes to be fit for Saturday , I think qpr will feel the pressure and its important we don't concede early , if we could get the win then we could move up a few places on Saturday.

I think we'll get beaten with us scoring 0. I think going three matches in a week unbeaten is a bit too much for our team at present and Redknapp will have an effect.

Benteke has to really go at Rob Green the butter fingered goof.

3-1 Villa - Benteke, Weimann, Bazza (pen)

A lot depends on the referee on Saturday - I know it always does but if we get one who fancies himself and plays up to the media we are lost before kick-off.

Howard Webb.

In that case, 2-0 to the Arrrrs then.

What is clear is that if Benteke get injured or knackered.  we are in trouble.   If Bent can play on Sunday,  I would suggest starting with:

                 Bent
Gabby        Ireland             Holman
       Bannan         Westwood.

I would let Benteke have a breather on the bench.  Only bring him on if we need to c65 mins.    He would be handful to tired defender.

I was shocked to find we are only 3 points behind the "mighty" Liverpoo.......Bagpuss Rangers 0-5 Villa

seriously...a home win, cannot see anything else with 'appy 'onest 'arry and Webb controlling the game.

Their CB pairing the other night was Clint Hill and Ryan Nelsen.  I'd hope Benteke will get some change out of those two.

2-1 Villa and Bagpuss to be in the dugout with his usual twitchy, tourrettes style face.

Did you see him last night, bloody twitching like mad. Something wrong with old Arry i think.
That would be the Car accident he had then! :( ??? :-[

Yeh, the home crowd will be complaining every time Benteke roughs somebody up until Webb shows his authority and sends him off for shouldering Ryan Nelson!

Ryan Nelson is a dirty off the ball merchant so he will be roughing Benteke up a bit.
