The problem is I really want to like this team, but with each poor performance & crap result i'm struggling. It's a bit like your best mate shagging your missus, you want to like him but you just can't.

you come home and he's taking her over the stove. Then she pulls a pie out of the oven and you go and sit down in front of the TV while she finishes off.
Aint that what friends are for?

then at the right moment you smash a keyboard into his face

And then say sorry

It worries me that a lot of our side simply don't look ready for a full season in the top flight, let alone a relegation scrap.

should I be worried that we have an apple pie in the oven?

I'd be worried if it was every night and on special nights it's cherry

Clark alongside Laursen, Westwood alongside Barry, Bannan alongside Milner. Just examples, but some of these young players of ours learning the game alonsgside some experienced heads would have been genuinely quite exciting. All in together though, and it could end badly.

Well you would be more upset with your best mate than your missus.

Don,t bank on january transfers.

A. Will he be trusted with more money.

That was arguably a penalty.

That's exactly it.

Faulkner probably thinks playing a load of academy products makes you Ajax. We desperately need some experience.

That was arguably a penalty.

Indeed. And another defender hobbling. Fantastic.

Baker suffering for being too one footed there. Should have cleared it with his right foot.

This is piss poor, and we have very little on the bench.
