Can't fault our forward play. It's the finishing. It's quite exciting when we go forward.

So frustrating, glimpses of what we are capable of followed by spells of crapness.

better from Villa, a goal before HT would settle the nerves

Christ I'd completely forgot about the existance of Ireland, where has he been last few weeks?

Look, I believed In Lambert, too. But, you either coach naive players in a rigid system or you rely on experience. Reading are utterly shit. Villa have no idea where to run or pass on the attack. That is Lambert's fault and we are zooming towards relegation.

At what stage of the game do they put the bloke from Chesterfield on to strengthen the team?

The problem is I really want to like this team, but with each poor performance & crap result i'm struggling. It's a bit like your best mate shagging your missus, you want to like him but you just can't.

you come home and he's taking her over the stove. Then she pulls a pie out of the oven and you go and sit down in front of the TV while she finishes off.
Aint that what friends are for?

If Holman had the technical ability to match his work ethic....well, he'd be sat on the bench at Man City, but he'd be good.

Probably in his agent's office trying to get as far away as he can, if he has any sense.

The longer we go without a goal the more confident they become and the more nervous we become.  A goal before ht is much needed

Trouble is we are down there competing with clubs with players and fans just delighted to be in the division, whereas we are still in denial that it'll all be alright in a few games. I am really worried whether we all really have the stomach for the fight over the next 5 months or so.
