I stand corrected! We are playing two left footed centre backs. There's no reason it shouldn't be possible - you wouldn't think twice about two right footed centre backs - but it just feels wrong. Let's see.

Should be stronger at set pieces than if Lowton was at CB, with the added bonus that Lichaj isn't on the pitch to give away his customary 2-3 needless free kicks in danger areas. I don't think Lambert rates Lichaj or Herd, and I can see why personally.

As I said on the Bent thread, "I've said more than once that there may well be something we don't know. The fact he's not making the bench makes me think that can be the only reason."

If there is an issue of some kind with Bent i'd prefer Lambert to keep it behind closed doors. 1) I don't want us washing our dirty laundry in public 2) if Bent is acting like a complete knobber it's hardly going to help us get maximum value by telling the world.
