I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to three of our legends yesterday (Sat) at the NEC - this was an autograph signing session for the Sport Memorabilia section. Giddy was over from Spain where he's resided for the last 16 years. Sir Brian signed a photo for me of his last gasp winner in the 2nd League Cup final replay at Old Trafford in 1977, whilst Giddy signed a photo of him overlapping in typical fashion at Upton Park in 1976. Sir Brian said that he really fears for us this year and feels we simply have to add experience in January. All in all, a bit surreal yesterday - great guys, very easy to talk to!!

Was this the same event that the Mercury reported Britt Eckland & David Hasselhoff being at?

It was touch and go, but that's just sealed it, I'm going.

I might take 'The Return of the Little Villain' for Brian to sign, again.

Yes. Craig Charles and the cast of Only Fools were also in attendance as well as the bloke who played Boba Fett in Star Wars. 10 minutes of screen time, followed by a lifetime on the convention circuit. Funniest had to be the bloke who played Herr Flick in Allo Allo actually dressed up as Herr Flick.

Apparently there's a Q&A session with Ken McNaught, Tony Morley and Gary Shaw at The Boot Inn Sutton on Thursday, free entry...
