Ronald James Jeffries: 3/11/41 - 19/11/12
« on: November 23, 2012, 06:40:57 PM »
Our Dad, former Secretary and other positions in the then Telford Villa supporters club.   Took us as a family to Rotterdam and obviously a major reason why I'm Claret and Blue.  But more than all of that our Dad who died unexpectedly on Monday.  Each day since through the shock and grieving, I've been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of love and affection people had for him. It hurts like hell, but we're working hard as a family to support our Mom and each other in the process.  We love you Dad xxx

I was really sad to hear about your dad's death. It seems unbelievable that he was at Halesowen with us for the Petrov game on Sunday, and gone only the next day. I can't imagine the level of shock you are feeling. In time it will be a good memory that you spent that last day with him watching all of those old Villa stars - it is like the story of you and your Dad kind of came full circle. Glad you are hoping to make it to the game to day and looking forward to seeing you later x
