Is Dennis Mortimer still fit ?     If we are pining for JM , then I will dream about Dennis Mortimer putting on the villa shirt again , damn we need him.

Jesus fucking Christ.

No point signing him he struggles with crosses.
Yes it's easy to pin him down!

Perhaps Emile would consider...no, he's having too good a time in Oz.  Shame. :)

Just had a look on a Glory Hunting site and can't believe how much they hate Young. He's really not made many friends up there and they can't wait to see the back of him. The same can be said for Downing at Liverpool. Milner can't wait to get out of Man City, only Barry has really delivered on his promise and he was the cheapest of the four.

Having Milner back would be ideal but my guess is he's a greedy bastard and would want stupid wages, even if he's promised a game every week.

Steve Sims or Mark Lillis.

About time we had some heartthrobs again.

We could get the ghost of Jimmy Sirrell in to manage them, he was dreamy.

What he might want and actually be woth are two different things. There are only three or four clubs that pay silly money and none of them would want Milner, we got ridiculous money for him and thats not going to happen again, like so many he has probably realised that to play regularly he will have to take a massive pay cut.

Have to say I would especially love Milner back over Young, but the player after some thinking and a few beers I would want back is Gareth Barry. No chance of getting him at the minute I know, but he would offer stability to the team and bring a bit more class and perhaps even more importantly experience, as well as obviously having a great fondness for the club.
