So was I Sean, it was pretty poor fare I seem to remember.
Didn't a keeper have an OG against him?
Yeah .... Enckleman.
That was credited to Mellberg not Enckleman weren't it.
I've already claimed Bosnich as a keeper with OG. No idea if it's right though as Legion did the typical teacher thing of asking a question and then going on holiday for three months.
Went to watch the Chelsea game then bedtime. Encks' was definitely not an o.g. Referee got it wrong.

I agree, but it was credited to Enckleman. If he'd not been deemed to have touched it then it wouldn't have counted, so it has to be his goal.
Who was the first Villa player to be sent off? (Prem era)
Nigel Spink
FLASHBACK: Southampton 4-1 Aston Villa – 30 April 1994
Southampton survived relegation from the Premier League in 1993-94, largely through this win in their final home game of the season.
The messiah of the south coast, Matt Le Tissier scored twice and there were also goals from Ken Monkou and Neil Maddison.
Villa goalkeeper Nigel Spink was sent off for a challenge on Iain Dowie and away supporters were so disgusted, they ripped down a goal post at full-time, causing over £300 of damage.

Did Chico Hamilton III and his mates have a go at destroying the crossbar?
And the goal-drought we had was pre-Sky in the spring of '92. In Prem years it's under McLeish maybe?
Okay, here's one. Since Sky invented football our worst goalscoring run in the league that I can remember was 1 goal in 11 games. Who scored that goal and who were so crap that they conceded a goal against us?
Was it that Ipswich player who scored that own goal in 94/95 when we won 1-0 at Portman Road. Cant remember his name.
Did Ipswich have a player called Frank Yallop, who always seemed to score own goals?
Did Chico Hamilton III and his mates have a go at destroying the crossbar?
Have a go? we succeeded.
Shameful
And someone ran onto the pitch, dressed as Robin, and threw a punch at Dowie.

I've a recollection of it being Staunton away to Norwich?

The answer has already been correctly guessed. Regis at home to Oldham.

"Someone" eh? Wouldn't blame you. He may have invented bouncebackability but he's forever tripping over his words on Sky. Very hard to understand him.

Frank Yallop was a Canadian footballer, now head coach of the MLS team in San Jose!
I don't know the answer but what is our highest score going into the half time break? Since football was invented.
I remember being three up against portsmouth in a Saturday lunchtime sky game.
In 92/93 were we 4-0 up v Boro or have I imagined it?
Just checked, was 3-0 at ht
5-1 vs Liverpool in 1976?
