Right. I just watched the whole second half. The reason that we lost is simple. We stopped playing in the cautious way that earned the lead, chased more goals and the game was wide open.

At 2-0, PL should have made defensive substitutions e.g. Holman for Weimann plus KEA for Ireland and shut up shop. It was way too up tempo and open - exactly what MU thrive upon.

For how many more years will we be so infuriatingly fucking naive?

You didn't threaten to ban them though. You made the point that if someone called nornironvillain a twunt it would be them that got banned.

Call him a twunt, it will work, send an apple to PWS though, he likes apples

It might be a good idea if you took the rest of the night off.

At 2-0, I thought we'd scored too early; they had nothing to lose and had 3 world class forwards on. We did what most teams do against them and didn't know whether to attack or defend.

Not sure that the subs worked either. We lost shape once KEA/Holman came on, and we had limited 'out' balls once they got into their groove. It would also be nice if teams thought we were a threat at set pieces....late on, United knew they they didn't need to worry about us and could keep players outside the box meaning we couldn't put any pressure on.

But..... Can't help be proud of the performance....I just wish we'd been playing Arsenal tonight....

I have looked through all 18 pages, and haven't seen a single post threatening to ban you. So it's very simple, show me the post where they threatened to ban you. You obviously know what post(s) it is otherwise you wouldn't make the claim in the first place.

Nothing pisses me off more than the thought that if we'd played like that all season today would have been our first defeat.

No I didn't. Hawkeye did. Who isn't a mod anyway. You do realise he was saying that the person who called you a twunt would be banned, not you don't you?

If we'd scored the second with 15mins left I'd definitely agree...but (as i've said elsewhere) it was too early. Defensive for 40minutes would have got the same result I think. We needed a third....
