we were 2-0 up and alhough i was as proud as everyone else with some of the performances, you dont lose when you are 2-0 up. getting pissed now and don feel any better
I agree if we were playing lesser opponents... But this is man united and for some reason they keep coming back somehow when they shouldn't.

I have to say though with the way we were playing and being 2-0 up there's no way I would of thought they'd go onto score 3. It's not like they even had to put effort into the goals they scored like ours, it was just Hernandez being in the right place + precise finishing from two crosses and a long unexpected pass over the top.

I can take no comfort from this, we are 2-0 up at home with 11 men on the pitch.

You should not lose to any one from there.

possibly except these wanker and maybes barca and real. but an excellent display of team efort from villa.

Yes I am proud of the young team we had out there today.
Yes I am proud of what Lambert is doing.
However losing a two goal lead  and ending up losing the game is not something to be proud of. This is embarrassing. Why oh why  we can't put this team to the sword when we have the chance? Time and time again at VP we have succumbed under pressure from them. I remembering turning to the bloke next to me as we went 2-0 up to say i don't like 2-0 lead. i guess I had no belief that we could win from there and may be that is the problem with over teams over the past few years. No belief that we can beat the scum fron both players and supporters. This was obvious from  the way our fans emptied the stadium in droves as they took the lead. FFS that was the time to stay back and support the boys.

Based on that performance, we'll win more than we lose.

??????

Ok, we played ok first half, 30% possession at home is good I suppose but that capitulation does not suggest that we will go on to win more games than we will lose this season.  Benteke was good today, as was Clark imo but I think your statement is way off.

They absolutely battered us and it could have been 5 or 6.  God how our hopes and expectations have fallen if people think that was good.  There were some positive signs granted but they were by far the better side.

er battered us. NO they did not batter us

I hope they got their teeth kicked in. Fucking ****** bags.

I hate them almost as much as Small Heath.

I cannot wait until they become a fucking mid-table irrelvance like Liverpool. There is an avalanche of karma coming their way.

Has anyone said that we should be proud of losing the match?

Hate to break it to you, but being proud of a performance isn't the same as being proud of a result.

er battered us. NO they did not batter us

64% possesion to our 36% (As the away team)

16 shots to our 10

Hit the bar twice

Won the game 3-2

I would say they that absolutely dominated us, especially in the second half.  Still, believe what you will.

Edit: Perhaps we are talking about two different games?  Cos the one I watched saw Man United come at us in wave after wave of attcak until they scored enough goals to win the game.

There was quite a few things to be proud of, great performances from various youngsters against one of the best sides in world football yeah we collapsed and it was sickening but I will take positives.
