Ron Vlaar.  Unlucky or hapless?

Bit of both. He's got the air of Richard Dunne about him, as well as he plays, you know he's going to drop a bollock fairly soon.

Looks like we're going to try to keep it tight for the draw.  Weimann was absolutely brilliant, I've said for ages now that he's going to be immense for us.

Benteke has such good control

And he also has a certain swagger about him that kind of says "I deserve to be here", which I quite like about him. Ashley Westwood also seems possessed of this, which I think bodes well and marks them out as different to some of our own young players over the last year or two.

He was shit for 40 minutes, then was awesome for half an hour or so

As for Vlaar - unlucky, he is a very good player.

I saw him play for Austria U19s against England in Normandy, of all places, and he was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. He's got a natural footballing brain.

Bannan has worked his bollocks off and I am not normally a fan another one that has bought into PL's workrate

One of the worst things about blowing it yet against them will be Fergie patronising us. I used to love it in the mid 90s when we would go up there and got a 0-0 and he'd whinge about us endlessly.

I think Lowton, Westwood, Benteke and Guzan have that of the ones signed in the summer. Clark, Bannan and Weimann are growing into the home grown role well.

I dunno about that; he totally nawsed up that 3-on-3 in the first half.  He's a tireless worker though and he can finish well which will do for me.
