after saturdays win i feel rejuvinated and justified in my comments on villa all year as that it hasnt been that bad and we arent far away. my optimism can sometimes be a little clouded by anything in claret and blue but those 3 points certainly help. i feel that one of these 3 games one of the opposition is going to come to vp and get a bloody nose. we certainly owe manure and pray that it is this saturday we give it to them!

I get the feeling that we are getting close to the regular starting XI. The players will know this and it improves their game when they are settled. Not to suggest that they become lackadaisical though.

From what I'm seeing in the news today the injury to Darren Bent might be quite serious.

They're concerned because it's the ankle he had the op on but it's not thought to be long-term.
