It seems very strange listening to a game on the radio these days. And yet it wasn't that long ago when live commentary would have been a real highlight.

It's retro - I like it

Yep just like old times as a school kid - all i need now is Horlicks and a hot water bottle.

They wont allow me to hear the live commentary because i'm in Ireland.
That's bloody racist, that is.

I've just opened a bottle of Henney's Hereford Cider (dry, 6%); very pleasant and to be commended.

See I disagree, I think for our club to move forward we need to get rid of Bent as soon as possible, his ego (warrented with his record) can't be doing any good for dressing room harmony.

So, his ego is the problem, except his ego is deserved?

I think there's a definite element of "we're not worthy" around Bent with some Villa fans.

No, I mean him having an ego is understandable, but it IMO must be doing more bad than good, especially when he isn't playing.

Listening to this on AVTV in Bratislava airport. I'd forgotten what Jack Woodward was like on radio.

But there's no actual evidence of his ego doing no good, is there?

He doesn't like being dropped, but nor do all the better players.

Gotta move fast at half time - faggot and mushy pea batches on the agenda!

Seems our fans are out singing the locals so far.
