Infamous day though as there was trouble throughout and afterwards with those jolly, funny old Liverpudlians
Scousers throwing fireworks into us and racist abuse abounded.
The charge back to the coaches past Littlewoods Pools (Stanley Park was no-go) armed with fence staves lives long in the memory
This is exactly as I remember it.

Sod's law - I didn't go to the 2.1 victory but vividly remember a 3-0 hammering at Anfield, a good hiding from those loveable Mickey Mousers and a very cold return journey on a coach with only two windows remaining intact. Happy Days
