Hi all,
 I am writing a book and need some help with my research.
 On the 5th November 1977 Villa beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.
 I know Andy Gray scored both our goals. However, what I cant find out is;
 what minutes he scored his brace in and who scored the Liverpool goal.
 I have found out that it was an OG by one of the villa players but I cant find out who it was.
 Any help would be much appreciated.

The liverpool goal was an own goal by Frank Carrodus. I remember this game vividly, but that doesn't extend to times of goals.

Gray scored after nine and 44 minutes. Liverpool's goal was credited to Ray Kennedy.

Here's everything, apart from the times of Andy Grays  goals. I will keep looking.

According to the Sports Argus report of the game Gray scored the first after 41 mins. Frank Carrodus then put through his own net after 64 mins, with Gray getting the winner after 72 mins.

What is the focus of your book?

Bugger, I've just realised I'm talking about the wrong game. As you were, people.

Still have the ticket stub!

Infamous day though as there was trouble throughout and afterwards with those jolly, funny old Liverpudlians
Scousers throwing fireworks into us and racist abuse abounded.
The charge back to the coaches past Littlewoods Pools (Stanley Park was no-go) armed with fence staves lives long in the memory
