It seems that playing like utter shit is now the standard for Aston Villa.

Cool times.

I have to say at least the 4 teams below us look just as poor

Yes, but I'd prefer it if they looked poorer. Notwithstanding the usual 'judge your own team more harshly' caveat, I think we're about the poorest team I've seen in the league this season.

I can see us going down as the 20th placed team this year.

As bad as we are, we're nowhere near as shit as QPR. or Norwich.

16th-17th wouldn't surprise me, but I think the ineptness of other clubs will see us safe this year.

The performances against Swansea and Man City weren't so long ago, even though it feels like it. Lambert can and will turn it around.

The frightening thing is we haven't played any top teams yet and we have 1 win from 8.

I thought Southampton were until they absolutely destroyed us.

I got crucified on here for suggesting we would get relegated this season.  I really can't see how we will stay up.  We are very, very shit.

Lambert needs to start panicking and looking for a plan B.  How about using the wings and crossing to our £7m 6'5" striker, for a start?

All over. Fulham are a form side at the moment, but Villa are poor and getting worse.

We are just hanging on, not playing fluently and waiting for Fulham to score.  Not good enough.

I knew it for a certain fact much earlier on.

Well thats it then. Remember those first 30mins against West Ham? we looked very much as if we were going the right way....and now its hard to look positive.

In the league, the match commentator said, Agbonlahor hasnt scored for 26 games. Bent doesnt look as if he could score and Benteke has now missed a number of easy chances.

I cant see how they are going to improve.
