I don't think it was so much that we were poor as both teams have cancelled each other out.  We've both had a couple of chances but it's been pretty dull so far because we're just cancelling each other out.

Not much of effect from a midfield of 4 against Sidders at al

perhaps one of them will be replaced by benteke in the second half?

Coincidence that Bent starts and we play wank and create very little?

We've played wank and created very little all season.

Not sure it's all his fault, but he really has done fuck-nothing.

Not all season, but I don't think it's Bent's issue so I agree with the point overall. We need to actually create some chances for him. Baker also needs to wake up.

I must have imagined the chances created against Spurs then.

Couldn't agree moe with Rissos earlier observation that we have improved this season, but that we are not up to the standard of most teams in the league. All we can really ask of Lambert is that he will improve us, so i'm not complaining, but I think it could be a long season.

He's someone who does "fuck-nothing" unless he scores which has to be set up by someone else. Beneteke offers a little extra in my opinion.

well there is a pattern for this season where we offer little creatively in midfield and lack bite upfront. Pity the Benty boys can't play as two up front together.....or can they? Ireland looks confident at least and is pretty if not too effective.

Is it me or do we not run off the ball enough looking for space. Like watching subbuteo sometimes.

At least we are in it, looking fairly solid and in with a decent chance here.

Thank you.

For what it's worth, i'd have started Bent and Benteke today, but Gabby is the only one who looked a threat in the first half. Shows what I know.

Not great by any means, but not too bad either. We seem determined to give a goal away at times.

We've had a fair amount of possession, but have moved the ball slowly whilst Fulham have worked hard to close us down.

Hopefully a bit more space as the game wears on. We need more movement and presence from the two experienced guys up front.

Failing that, get the Belgian lad on.

I agree, Benteke on, Barren Dent off.
