An old girlfriend of mine was allergic to apples.
One day she was having a fruit salad in a restaurant( after asking for no apple in her fruit salad) had a mouthfull and minutes later she couldn't swallow, breath properly and her face swelled up like a bloody balloon. Frightened the shit out of me.
