Weimann is hardly prolific.
And Benteke and Gabby are?

Tidy finish by Lennon for 2-0.  Spurs have looked all game as if they could move into second gear when they felt like it.

the defending was shit for the goal, yet all we will hear is Benteke missed 2 chances. I really hope we give this lad a chance.

I'd rather we gave Weimann a chance.  That lad is quality.

So much more quality than Benteke that he's scored a whole league goal more in 5x as many appearances.

You do realise that that's an entirely hopeless argument.  Weimann is clearly a much better player.  And bollocks, Spurs score a second.  Perhaps Lambert doesn't *actually* know what he's doing?

You're so desperately predictable.

 This could be 3 or 4 , Southampton and West Ham all over again. Do well for 35 mins, have a bunch of chances , ... all missed and we end up at 2-nil.
Work in progress I guess,  We have a bunch of players with limited experience , but time is on our side at the moment. No panic yet.

This reminds me horribly of the changes against Southampton, there is no cohesion at all.

How is it? Surely if a striker is clearly a much better player then he can score more than 1 more goal in 5x as many appearances as the shitter striker?

But if it makes you happy to write off a 21 year old new signing in his 5th game and us off after 7 games then knock yourself out.

I think the midfield has to take a lot of the rap. Lack of width not helping the full backs;
