can we stop just clipping those free kicks in. How about a little pace and whip? We really have been crap at set piece delivery in the past two years

Thats been frustrating me too, we're not a big side therefore we need to be whipping them along the 6 yard line.

Delph is being more than a little careless, and it's more than a little frustrating.
I hope PL will sub him at half time We don't really want to be down to 10 men

Indeed. He does some good stuff too, but so often makes a poor pass or a stupid tackle. I think I'd pick Bannan ahead of him at the moment.

Well we're in the game, but we need to be a lot more clinical. Bale is a disgrace.

I'll take that as a HT scoreline. We rode our luck a bit but continue to show signs of moving in the right direction. The single most important thing for me is the difference between today and a year ago when we waved the white flag as we handed in the team sheet.

Good half.  Add a bit more of goal threat and I'd be saying it was us who were the top 4 contenders.

I'd worry about Delph on the yellow but we need him and El Ahmadi working hard in the middle. Not really a game for Zog and Bannan's less defensively-inclined attributes.

Happy with 0-0, but we need to be better in the last third with our decision making and ball retention.

Am I the only one who thinks absolutely every free-kick we have is just going to be a waste of time? We never put in a ball with any intent.

Unless bannan is taking it.

Hope we can keep it nice and tidy again second half and have Bent on the bench if we feel we can go for the win.
