On albrighton, I tend to agree. But with Ireland injured, I cant see past Holman for the 'in the hole position' an past albrighton on the right

If we played 4231 perhaps gabby and n'zogbia wide of Holman, but I don't think we will

Unless we go with CNZ in the hole, as Lambert has done once or twice before.  This would hopefully mean we keep some creativity in the middle combined with holman's energy on the right.

Can't see us getting anything here. There again I said that before Newcastle and Man City. I'll go for 3-2 to Spurs in a thoroughly entertaining game. One thing is for sure, we can't be any worse than we were here last season.

1-1. We're playing one of 'The Big Clubs' so let's hope the spirit of TSM isn't about.

Spurs playing a very strong team tonight -

Tottenham side to face Panathinaikos: Lloris, Walker, Dawson, Caulker, Vertonghen, Huddlestone, Dembele, Dempsey, Lennon, Bale, Defoe

That'll probably be 8 of the 11 against us.

A defeat, I fear. However, put in another good performance and - as I've said before - it will be another 90 minutes experience in the rebuilding process.

2-0 to them

Can we have less of this talk of spurs being 'one of the big boys' etc!  They are Tottingham Hotspurs, barely our equal, and they are just having a purple patch which will eventually end.

Encouraging to see a very strong Spurs selected for tonight. Most teams struggle after an away match in Euro, I expected more changes than AVB has made.

Trying to be positive.

With our defence and their attack I can't see anything other than a tough afternoon. 3-1 to them.

I would normally put this one down as as a defeat for us but I think this season we could win a few of the ones that we would have surrendered meekly in last season.
So..... Spuds 1 Villa 2.
Defoe for them.
Gabby &  Holman for us.
