4-4 As a few years ago. I seem to recall we were 4-1 up with 20 minutes to go in that game.....then super sub Marlon Harewood came on.

I remember it well!

PL went there last year and beat them - quite convincingly as well IIR

As Damon said - at the very least we know we go there looking to win and give them a game - cannot ask anymore

Just a quick question - what are the chances of buying a single ticket on the day - i am in London with Missus to see my US cousin - but if they want to go "shopping" then i could slip off  ;)

I hope we stiffen up the defence a bit and sacrifice a striker for the extra bod in midfield.

A midfield 4 caused us a bit of a problem against Albion and the extra 1 up front didn't add much, it is probably too big a risk against this lot.

I'd also persevere with Benteke up front, with Bent coming on as the game demands.

Guzo
Lowton Vlaar Baker Lichaj
Albrighton, KEA, Herd, Holman
Delph
Benteke

Spurs 2 (Defoe, Bent og)
Villa 6 (Vlaar, Benteke 2, KEA, Bent, Defoe og)

Yep it was their 125th birthday party we were 4-1 up and singing "happy birthday to you" :-)
Sadly they had the last laugh

I've still got the 125th anniversay flags that Spurs put on everyone's seats that night. Still in their plastic covers, unused and never waved in anger

any offers?

It felt like a defeat when they clawed their way back

It certainly did.  Similar to the 4-4 against Leicester years ago, an absolute kick in the knackers.

What a game up until that point as well, singing Happy Birthday all through half time was hilarious. The showed continual replays of Robbo messing up for one of our goals as well didn't they?

Surprised to see a few people plump for albrighton in ther teams. I like him as he works hard but IMO he's struggled for a long time now and I don't think he's good enough to start for us. I think we've looked best this season with lowton providing the width on the right.  I think we'll go with a similar team to the newcastle and Swansea games but maybe Bennett and gabby coming in for lichaj and weimann/benteke.

Felt so pissed off and frustrated after that game after the high of 4-1 up it really hurt ...

I fear we will lose 3-1 this time as I think they will be too strong after Manure game will have fired them up

A scintillating 3-2 away win, with goals from Vlaar, Agbonlahor and a last minute Bent winner.

I don't think people will be able to predict lambert sides but I'm pretty confident that won't be it!

On albrighton, I tend to agree. But with Ireland injured, I cant see past Holman for the 'in the hole position' an past albrighton on the right

If we played 4231 perhaps gabby and n'zogbia wide of Holman, but I don't think we will

With the way we are right now, plus Spurs perhaps a little full of it after the Utd result, I fancy us to get a result here. I think we'll take the lead and they'll have to scrape out a result.

Of course if they're on it, then they'll tear us apart, but I just fancy us to have a good game, and Spurs to not quite be at the races.

1-1
Bent.

Think we'll lose this one after a win and a draw in this topsy turvy season for us.
Followed of course by Savage saying "I told you so"
