Fucking hell man. We deserve to be in front now, but it's been a great first half from us in any case.

It's times like that Free-kick for which I'm glad Brunt has gone off.

Looks like just inexperience from Benteke. He'll get there.

Perhaps. The commentator can't wait to criticise him either. He's been off the pace in the first half, but he's new to the Prem ffs.

HT, 0-0, some good play by us but not as much attacking play as the possession demanded. Benteke has been wasteful but so far Holman MOTM.

I enjoyed that.  Getting crosses into the box at every opportunity, running at players - great stuff.  Lacked composure up front but we've always got Bent to bring on.

It's early days obviously but at the moment Benteke looks more a physical presence than he does a finisher.

Decent first half, thought Holman was good. Think if we keep going we should grab a goal.

Delph looks like a flight risk, get him off.

Created some chances and decent overall. Benteke has been very uncomposed. Holman excellent and gabby started very well.

Kea has Ben playing well too. I think the stage might be set for bent to get the winner. I wonder how long before he comes on?

Think Clark and vlaar have looked compose. delph decent, but why does he dawdle on the ball and go on recklessly at least once every game?

With Benteke I don't see much point in playing a striker who doesn't back himself with half a goal to aim at, 15 yards out and on his stronger foot.

Yeah he missed but I've got no issue with him taking the shot on, it's exactly what you want a striker to do.

Having seen most of the first half we should be ahead, need a goal early 2nd half or they'll start to think they can nick it.
