Looking on the replays, I couldn't see why it was a foul, let alone a booking.

Didn't see a replay, looked late on first viewing to me.
I thought it was a good tackle on first viewing. Replays confirmed it.

I thought so too from the distance he was away fro the ball and the camera was from the players, but he clearly won the ball and had studs low when he caught the player. This was shown clearly on the same view the ref would have seen it.
