Quick question regarding client reference numbers
« on: September 27, 2012, 06:29:54 PM »
I'm looking to buy 2 Spurs tickets and 1 Fulham ticket with 3 of my mate's client reference numbers (so none of them are mine). Can I do this over the phone with my card and get the tickets sent to my house or will they have to be posted out to my mate's houses? Cheers in advance.

They'll definitely go to your mates' house.

Yes you can, but they will be posted to the address of the season ticket holder.

I feel like if you ask for them to be sent to a different address that they'd comply?

They shouldn't. I allow my client reference number to be used by other Villa fans for away games. The tickets are sent to me and I forward them on.

Thanks for the replies, I'll see if I can get them all sent to one of the addresses rather than 1 ticket to each. Will be a bit of a ball ache otherwise

Ah, fair enough.

They'll certainly post them to one address rather than individual tickets to each address.  I've used other people's references (along with my own reference) to get away tickets plenty of times and they've always all been posted to me.

Turns out they sent them to my home address which was good of them. Must say the ticket office phone line is a million times better than the last time I called (telling you where you are in the queue and sounding all round more professional - as did the member of staff I spoke to). I normally book online and didn't go much last season due to TSM.
