I've never assumed we are going to lose any game before it has even kicked off and I'm not about to start now.

Sod it.
2-1 to the Villa.
Come on you Lions !

A trophy-less season for us it seems.

The same as every season.

Difficult choice for gk. Drop/rest Guzan? Potentially Given drops a clanger then where are we? Two goalies with no confidence...

Nevertheless, I am going for a two nil win; Gabby & Bowery (from the bench).

We need to do what we did well against Newcastle, Swansea and the 1st half yesterday and thats press the opposition midfield when they have the ball.

James Milner didn't even make the City bench today. No doubt he'll start and score against us on Tuesday
3-1 City

We'll win on penalties, Barry (Gareth) will deliberately miss his spot kick, Barry (Bannan) will smash his right in the corner - it will be glorious. We'll get Coventry in the next round.

I agree, they dont want Man U getting away from them. 4-1 to us will do nicely.

We have much more chance of beating them now rather than the semi or final however.....

Not uncommon for odd results at this stage of the League Cup.
Match postponed - snow.

3-1 to them

Looking at who did not start for them yesterday is scary :

Richards (might be injured ?)
Maicon
Kolarov
Toure K
Barry
Milner
Nasri
Rodwell
Tevez
Balotelli
