Harsh on Weimann but interesting to see Benteke and Bent from the start.

Not many attacking options there.

Hopefully Ireland will put in a better performance than he did last week.
I would have liked to see Bennett in for Lichaj but glad to see Benteke start.
Come on you Lions.

Not many attacking options there.

Bennett is an attacking FB and everyone else is a forward or midfielder. Given must feel well left out. What a welcome change from just a few months ago.

We cannot take this game for granted because we're not remotely good enough for that. We need to keep building on the last two promising games. If we put in the same kind of performance as we did at Newcastle it will be more than enough to win this.

Yes, but what if defenders get injured? Exciting but possibly reckless?

Then we go with a different system, maybe 3 at the back and 5 midfielders working their bollocks off. I don't think you need dedicated defenders to be strong defensively. In fact, when it comes to work rate even adding someone like Gabby helps as the opposition can't be be too expressive for fear of being caught out by his pace. There's a lot of things you can do.

I suppose Lichaj and Lowton can both play in several defensive positions so if a defender does get crocked we just bring Bennett on and reshuffle.
