Twenty20 World Cup 2012

Surprised there's no thread for this yet.

Afghanistan have started ok chasing India's 160 target. Can't see it lasting but hope they at least make a game of it.

I reckon Sri Lanka'll win it.

Makes sense to have this. Afghanistan look like a very decent side to me, some good bowlers and some good batting. I hope we are fully on the ball against them, our preparation has gone well but they look a real threat.

Why's he not allowed a runner? Ludicrous ruling. He could do permanent damage.

Yep ridiculous. I repeat though the Afghans look a good side, and we'll need to be at our best to win.

Their version of T20 was played in front of about 30 people, and that was the final.

I know it is not fashionable to talk England up, but I think we will be hard to beat at this tournament.  We have a line up of batsmen who can hit boundaries and a good bowling attack with a bit of variety.

They tend to be 11.30 am or 2.30 pm. England's games are tomorrow and Sunday at 2.30 I believe.

Not looking like Zimbabwe will be able to push South Africa at all.

Zimbabwe were desperately poor.

Agreed with Dominic Cork and Rob Croft in the studio when they said that Zimbabwe's automatic place in competitions needs to end.  They are not as good as some of the teams that are not making the tournaments.

Automatic places should only be given to the top 8 in the World rankings.

Australia are ranked 9.
