Good point and lots of positives.

If Newcastle are supposed to be top 6, then we'll have no worries this season and it should be enjoyable along the way as this was a good match.

Good solid point. Guzan to keep his place.  I watched on a crap buffering stream but we looked like we had far the better of the chances.  Relegation?  Yeah right!!! Well done PL and the boys.  Two weeks off now to sort the young lads and get them inducted into the new Villa way.

About 65 minutes of total domination from Villa. Plus 25 minutes of Newcastle showing their class and matching us.

Deserved 3 but I'm delighted with the 1 point today and the performance with it.

Good point, fair result.  Played some lovely football at time.  Holman worries me though, he has been poor every game he has played so far.

We will be ok if we can play like that every week. We are roaring again, we really matched them. If we build on that we could be back in the top ten by May.

Very encouraging to be honest and probably a fair result. We stopped passing it about after they scored but we had enough chances to have won it.

I thought that PL got it his team selection correct and it was good to see Gabby back at the end. Ireland is a cut above the rest when he can be bothered but thought Lichaj struggled today.

Guzan very impressive.  CNZ, shite again.  Sorry, but he looks utterly lost to me.

Out the bottom 3 according to the Beeb. Onwards and upwards. 35 wins away from being champions.
