Good point, but we deserved all three.

Really good performance, I thought KEA was superb before he came off. Defence looked solid and Guzan was great. We deserved to win, but a point up there is really good result.

Good point, could easily have won with a bit more composure in front of goal. Hope KEA isn't too badly injured.

And what a fucking pleasure it was to enjoy watching a game involving Aston Villa again.

I think that a draw was a fair result. Newcastle looked the better team for the last 20 odd minutes

Was Gabby his old self? It sounded that way on here.

Really good point. Decent performance in a game i thought we would lose. Should do wonders for our confidence. Well played Brad, deserves to start the next game.

A vast improvement and much better than I expected. Guzan was excellent. Onto the next one.

And Guzan has to be number 1 now for the time being.

Enjoyed that - you could argue the Geordies were 'tired' after Thursday but we deserved to win. Great to see some football and a team with shape. We could be onto somehting good here.

Special praise to Brad - well played son.

Played some cracking stuff.  KEA, Vlaar, Lowton all did really well.  Holman did OK aside from allowing Ben Arfa 20 minutes to pick out the top corner.

Good to see Gabby back.  Good we didn't lose, shame we could take one of the many half chances we had and Bent looked off the pace to be polite.

Correct. But I'm still happy with the result AND the passion with which we played. Brad Guzan has more than staked his claim. I like the way he catches instead of punches. He really commands the area.
