I went to Forest and it was noticable that Guzan was under instruction to play the ball short to Bannan and the defenders, that seemed to go completely out of the window against WHU and Everton so maybe Given wasn't following orders and that's why he's out?

Been making regular mistakes for a while now. Another player in the comfort zone.

PL has shown a ruthless streak by dropping Shay Given, I hope Brad gets a run in the side now.

Only if he delivers , if not shay will be back, it's down to Guzan to keep the shirt.
Didn't PL when he came say something along the lines of ' because you are in the team for a match doesn't mean you are an automatic choice and that places have to be earned.'

I thought Baker would be playing too.
But PL is boss, very clearly, and wants his ball playing centre back building a partnership with Concrete Ron

Glad to see Guzan in, but midfield looks weak.

If Herd and Delph are injured, I'd have preferred to have Clark in midfield, with Baker in central defence.

Think we might get a hiding today.

Still don't see Bent as a captain, surely its only a matter of time until Vlaar takes the armband.

Is the match on telly anywhere? If not, why didn't it kick off yesterday at 3!

That explains Sunday but doesn't explain the 4pm part
