I really like the fact he is pleased to sign for Villa and obviously holds the club in high esteem. We've had too many players recently that have been happy to settle for Villa and not have the hunger to succeed.

Boro fans not bothered he has left which is worrying.

And rate Warnock more! Lets hope this is one for the future, like the other 3 potential signings and we are actually going to sign some really good players who are ready to come in now as well.

Anyway, welcome Joe.

They are more than welcome to him.

Welcome, young Joe.

Looking at the photos on the OS, somebody should take him out for a balti or three, the poor lad looks malnourished.

Fuck off, Bennett.

Private joke that will only be understood by 2 other people in the world. In any case they live in New Zealand and support Hull so won't be looking at this site anyway. Slightly pointless post, all in all, but I just couldn't help myself.

Good to have a player called Joe.   It is a lucky name and carried by plenty of great Villa players over the years.   I also like the name Bowery.   I hate having my photo taken but somebody took a picture of my son and me larking about in The Bowery in our Villa shirts so it has to be a good omen.   Welcome Joe.

If we can ride the wave of a couple of mixed seasons,we could have a crop of experienced players in their early twenties to really move on to the next level, could be wishful thinking, but least there seems to be a vision.
