You're probably right, John e.  But he might have a good game against a lower league side which could tempt another  club to gamble?  Hope he has a great game tonight anyway, but I'm not holding my breath or anything silly!

VILLA: Guzan, Lichaj, Lowton, Baker, Stevens, Bannan, Ireland, Herd, Delph, Weimann, Bent [c]. Subs: Given, N’Zogbia, Holman, Delfouneso, Johnson, Burke, Williams.

No width at all in that side. I fear a long night.

I think the idea is that the midfield four will be a tight diamond, with Lichaj and Stevens overlapping and creating the width.

Playing for them, Bell-Baggie. That must be a made up name.

N'Zogbia might not play at all considering he's on the bench.

Indeed.  Looks more of a 4-2-2-2 with the full backs bombing forward, Bannan and Ireland adding the creativity for the front two (or at least that being the plan).

he must love N'Zog,  is he the only player to have started every game ?

He's on the bench though?

Teams just been announced here. First thought was mostly reserves  but it's close to team that played on Saturday. Just shows our problem.
