the tie is 10/1,
not bad odds seeing as everyone expects it to be tight, i've had a little investment

I reckon you could have got better odds yesterday but fair play.

I feel for you john e, I really do.

Yep, we had already retained it but Woods missed a sitter of a putt to put the last all Square and give us a 14.5 win.

We are probably fucked, but that point from Poulter and McIlroy might just be vital.

Yes, it might.

Rose's win was the key, beating Mickleson over the last two holes opened the door for Europe. I always though Rose was a Villa fan too? But apparently not anymore.

Well at one point when I flicked over, we were 17 to 11 down. Turned over an hour ago when the mrs went back to bed and it was 12-12 with a prediction of a draw.

I thought Paul Lawrie's result was a great effort.  He'd looked out of his depth over the first two days but he minced Snedeker.

Thats for Seve, thats for Brookline and I'd like to say a huge well done to Poulter, the man is a monster at this competition and his efforts last night and today, superb.

I don't watch much golf and have never played it, but I do love the Ryder Cup.

It always seems to deliver some proper sporting drama

What a fight back. Not having Sky I managed to avoid the result so as I could watch the Beeb coverage. Amazing stuff with the added bonus of shutting up the gobby feckers.

Nice to go to sleep knowing the Ryder Cup can be put back in the trophy cabinet alongside the Ashes.

After the crowds reaction to Rose's fluffed shot in a greenside bunker I almost turned it off, fucking Americans, glad I didn't.

I know it can get a bit partisan at these events but I thought their crowd were shocking.
