All I'm seeing from Bannan is ignoring instructions and trying to hit 60 yard passes. He hasn't been our worse player, but taking him off would be the right thing to do in my opinion.

Karim El Ahmadi OFF Bannan OFF Ireland ON Weimann ON

How will that work? They've looked like our only two players capable of trapping a football.

Bannan has been woeful. Completely useless.

Indeed, almost as bad as playing with 10 men I'd say.  Same with Nzogbia.

Bannan has been the only one actually trying to make himself available for the ball. The lack of movement off it is shocking.

He's looked lost to me Monty, like a boy playing for his Dad's team.  I've been rooting for him since he broke through due to his ability on the ball but he hasn't improved in 3 years and he's too easily nullified against a team of grown ups.

Here's our first team squad, but without the unproven kids, with Hutton and Warnock taken out, and with those youth products with proven experience left in.

There's a dreadful lack of quality in there.

Shay Given (G)
22 Brad Guzan (G)
33 Andy Marshall (G)

4 Ron Vlaar (D)
5 Richard Dunne (D)
6 Ciaran Clark (D)
34 Matthew Lowton (D)

7 Stephen Ireland (M)
8 Karim El Ahmadi (M)
10 Charles N'Zogbia (M)
12 Marc Albrighton (M)
14 Brett Holman (M)
16 Fabian Delph (M)

9 Darren Bent (F)
11 Gabriel Agbonlahor (F)

The General said he predicts at least a 12th place finish

Who gives a fuck what he thinks?

Bannon makes himself available but is useless when he gets it, i'm sick of the excuses for Bannon he just is not good enough, the same for Delfonso
this is not blaming the meneger but the owner who seems to think you can sell all your good players and still be successful. We need five in this week but
seeing we would have to sell five first i think we are doomed. This is the worsed villa side i've seen in a long time.

Yes we are shite.  Flat.  Looking around for a pass.  Static.  Nervous and clumsy.  Plainly incompetent and best of all - bottom of the league.

But look on the bright side - at least Lambert and Lerner will realise this now - a couple more unchallenged goals for the Toffees and the budget will suddenly go up.

So join with me looking on the bright side - every goal equals £5 million.

Come on Everton!

I thought N'Zogbia was a good player who just hadn't settled yet. Now i think perhaps he was never a good player.

f*ck me, I know we've had a right trifle of a time with injuries, but surely this is not our strongest team we can put out.

Bannan has at least made himself available.  Nobody else is moving.  The balls keeps on coming to Baker who just stands on it looking around before either lumping it towards Bent or playing El-Ahmadi or Bannan into trouble.

N'Zogbia has ran out of excuses, he has Hexagonal feet, the ball just shoots off him.  Lambert cannot do much about this lot but he needs to find some players on the cheap, like Laudrup has.

Yep, i was going to comment on the 60 yard passes, too.

He's been every bit as shit as the rest of them, and probably worse than most.
