We really do lack 2 or 3 real quality players out there. The midfield looks so unbalanced.

More players please, Randy. I'm sick to death of Villa being a shit team. Five home grown players are out there today, that's great, but they're inexperienced and getting beaten every fucking week isn't going to help their confidence much. Meanwhile, the team has been shorn of it's best players and adequate replacements haven't been signed.

Everton look good don't they? We look crap in central midfield. We don't have one central midfielder who really knows what it takes int the epl. That such a risk

They've got no support really. Zog keeps going wide and we're getting outnumbered.

Very good side indeed. We'll get no time on the ball like last week. Trouble right now is it's a case of men against boys. We're lacking the experienced head, especially in the middle, who can try and re-take hold of the game.

Fucking hell we're playing Everton here? Men against boys, God help us when we play any of the top 5.

Everton - average finish over last 8 seasons = Sixth.

I maintain we need a left back, creative midfielder and a striker.

You can't just take a side that has nearly been relegated and just change the manager and expect miracles.  We need some better players because that's a right load of old dross out there.

We were already struggling in midfield last season so why we didn't strengthen still confuses me? As a journalist in The Mail said the other day why buy Lowton if money is so tight when we already have players who can play there?
