Judging by the first half hour of tonight's game, Everton look a very strong side. Take the draw and some steady progress by us, 2-2

1-0 Villa. Holman, 40.

Optimistic after his last weekend's performance.

He's right though, Holman does look 40!

I can see us coming out and surprising everyone after the performance against West Ham. The large, loud, and positive crowd should do wonders in encouraging the attacking football we're all hoping for. Plus Everton are always dodgy towards the start of the season.

2-1 the Villa. Bent and Zog for us, Jelavic for them.

Concrete Ron 1 for Aston Villa after heading  both the ball and Fellani into the goal to win 1-0 :)

Also, despite making it to about 14 matches last year, I haven't seen us win at Villa Park in over a year. (Last time was opening day of last season, 3-1 against Blackburn)

We've got a decent record against these even though they're a well organised hard team to beat, can see 2-2.
