If Swansea's 5-0 away win at QPR is 'A disaster' I'll quickly go out and put a fiver on them for the title  :D

You took the final paragraph out of my mouth, Dave.

Leave the Olympic stadium as the athletics centrepiece of a national sporting complex.

I love tha last bit

Especially asking for a free stadium for whoever you happen to own at the time

I have wondered what is their obsession with having a new stadium - is it so they can have their won statues outside it?

The stadium might be empty for most of the year but worth keeping till 2017 (World Athletics Champs).

It's great for watching athletics but would be crap for football. Wet Spam better off staying where they are.

A decent commerical team could use it for a variety of events to cover the maintainence costs. A few concerts would pay the bills. Good location and reasonable transport links.

Maybe they're going to build a secret base underneath it?

Good article Dave I also agree West Ham should stay were they are.
