Villa U21 1-0 Sunderland U21 - GOAL - 8 mins: A superb strike from Marc Albrighton to open the scoring for Villa. Samir Carruthers picked out the winger with a superb cross-field ball. Albrighton took one touch to control before unleashing a looping half-volley into the far corner.

Villa U21 2-0 Sunderland U21 - GOAL - 13 mins: Graham Burke has added a second for Villa. The move was started by Jordan Graham on the left wing. He held on to the ball before laying off to Burke on the edge of the area. We are.

Keep the updates coming Pauline, mrs east is in control of the remote and in soap heaven , and  I am on the ipad. The prospect of listening to Woodward is too much to contemplate on a Monday night.

Will do, Eastie.

Woodward's voice does grate but I'm managing to somehow not listen to his droning.

We shall catch up with the soaps after the game.

Albrighton has looked poor lately so if he has a few decent games it will boost his confidence , he looks a shadow of the player he was a couple of years ago.
