He went down a little too softly for me, not a penalty.  1-3

Anybody else having trouble with AVTV?

It's stuttering a bit and they had trouble with audio earlier but otherwise okay here.

didn't we lose our first game last season vs Ajax then went on to win the group with ease?

FT 1-3. Second best to a team that seemed older than ours. I thought Bateman (2) and Devine (5) looked good.

Pauline is complaining there is too much gin with her tonic.

I've heard that wine is the only cure for that :)

I've given up wine.  Decided to change my tipple to gin and tonic.  At no time did I ask for a double but that seems to be what I got.  Very nice mind and it is my birthday.  Hic!

Game wise, disappointing result tonight but I'm sure we'll come back fighting in the next game.

Very pleasant evening.

Started well, but Sporting got on top pretty much straight after we scored and they stopped Grealish getting the ball.  Oh and me Mom & Dad came to the game.

It seems like the younger sides are on a bit of a learning curve trying to play the way Lambert wants the different age groups to play. The game might have come along a bit too early for them and hopefully they will be a lot better in the next games.

We did have a young team out with apparently a few missing through injury.

His Dad's comment on the way out was "Who's stupid idea was that?"
