Good value and expect more than £20k if results are going well ......

good value? - its a 100% increase - been a tenner for the last few years! with petrol increases it'll cost me nearly £40 for this game! Must be playing the first team for this amount and not a bunch of reserves.

I agree - no way can £20 for a LC2 home tie with Tranmere be described as "good value". £20 for a home league game would be just about acceptable.

I'll be there though I suppose. You only live once!

I remember burying my head in a pillow, as I couldn't stand to watch the penalties and that was as a 10 year old, would be worried about having a heart attack if it happened again nowadays.

I thought I'd renewed the Cup Scheme, obviously not. Oh well, our seats haven't gone at least. AD, you owe me another £15. Payment types acceptable: Cash, Debit Card, Bacon.

Did you fill in yet another form this season? We're at the cutting edge of modern technology, you know.

I renewed my cup scheme, just for myself, and this morning tickets arrived for both me and my daughter! I used to include her on it, but don't any more as she doesn't live with us now. I'm sure that, if you decided not to go to the match, you could just phone VP and let them know, up to 24 hours in advance, but now you have to return the ticket "to the point of purchase no later than 24 hours prior to the day of the match." What??

I was concerned that P8, which is not exactly a wing stand block, would be charged at £20, thereby more expensive than a league game. However, they came through today at £15 each. All is well.

Yet another opportunity goes by for the club to show that they value their ST holders.  Yet again they ignore this opportunity and offer no discount to their ST holders over non-ST holders for this fixture.  In my opinion an appropriate price for ST holders for this fixture would be £8 to £10 depending on where you sit in the stadium.  I am in Trinity lower so £40 for my 2 season tickets plus £20 to drive down from Yorkshire =£60.  This just isn't value however you try to stretch it.  If the private car park I use can offer this fixture in the price of their season ticket why can't the club do the same.  Its just the same shit marketing year after year, they never even bother trying something innovative to see if it works.

The away team have to agree to prices.

Well Dave if, as you seem to be suggesting, you know for a fact that the club tried to negotiate lower prices with Tranmere but failed then why not tell the supporters this.  If it is truly the case that the club has been prevented from offering cheaper tickets because of Tranmere's greed then announce this and embarrass Tranmere at the same time, that's what I say!!

It's the same for every cup-tie so it's not really much of a story. I've also been told that if you give free admission to season ticket holders you have to pay the away side their cut of whatever the ticket price would have been, although I'm not certain of this one.
