Swindon at home I reckon. How I would love to see a home match again. Last week, I was passing through Birmingham, and on a wim, decided to visit Villa Park. I got on a train to Witton and spent around an hour just wandering around outside the ground. The streets were empty, bar a few sky sports people and groundsmen preparing for the Charity Shield. It's a wonderful stadium. I have been away from England for around 3 and a half years and the last game I saw, besides the Forest pre season match, was at home to QPR in the carling cup-we lost 1-0 in September 2008....
Up the Villa!

and cannot go to the Everton game due to Reading Festival!

After a hectic few days of Capital One Cup action, the teams who will go into the hat for Round Two are known and the draw will be shown on Sky Sports News at 12.30pm today.

Alex McLeish and Alan Smith will be conducting proceedings and all but seven of the Premier League teams will be entering the draw at this stage.

McLeish, really?  He will be introduced as the manager who won the cup two seasons ago with Blues and also the manager who made such a monumental fuck up of Aston Villa last season .....they won't go on to say.

It appears that there is a slight delay in the draw, which is being screened on Sky Sports News. That is down to the England cricket/Kevin Pietersen saga, where fresh developments have just come up.
