good stuff, PL.

It is on the back of this upswell of communal ecstacy that I will be taking my seven year old to see the Villa for the very first time - for what will be a 4-1 win for us - to the Boggies game on the 30th of September.

Wanted to take him last season, but couldn't bring myself to do it on the back of TSM's style/tactics - he'd have succumbed to peer pressure and one of the Sky wnak-fest teams within seconds.

Nice touch, actually; my new boss, on discovering that the ops manager of our biggest client is also a Villan, immediately offered to buy a pair of family tickets for us both, to the fixture of our choice (we both plumped for the Boggies independently, funnily enough) so that we can take our respective kids.

Instead of dreading it, I'm really looking forward to it, for my boy and for me.
